The detail Itinerary
The Hanoi Jeep Tours team will pick you up from your hotel in the Hanoi Old Quarter. You will be greeted by our guide and driver at your hotel lobby or meeting point for a safety briefing before we begin the adventure.
1. In the first part of the tour, we take you to see the Hanoi Opera House, the largest theatre in Vietnam and an important historical and architectural landmark where many significant events have taken place.
We introduce you to the REAL HANOI, offering day-in-the-life experiences through the hidden parts of the city: backstreets, narrow alleyways, local homes, schools, random markets, and even black markets, showing how locals truly live, work, and socialize.
Unlike other tours that only show the beautiful side, we also reveal the good, the bad, and the unique, because that is the true character of Hanoi.
2. In the second part, we pass by and stop at the must-see landmarks of the city. We ride past the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, a sacred site in Vietnam. Then, we continue along Thanh Nien Street, one of the most beautiful roads in Hanoi, located between two lakes.
We also explore the peaceful outskirts around West Lake and Truc Bach Lake, offering a contrast between the busy city center and tranquil local life. After that, we visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Hanoi with a history of over 1,500 years, located on a small island in West Lake.
3. In the third part, you will pass through Hoang Hoa Tham Street, famous for its bonsai trees and greenery.
Our Jeep will take you through hidden backstreets and small alleys, where you can experience a quieter side of Hanoi. You’ll also see the remains of a B52 American aircraft which was shot down by Vietnamese people, a historical site from the war, as well as modern areas with new buildings and skyscrapers.
We then head to Long Bien Bridge, a historic cantilever bridge over the Red River, connecting Hoan Kiem and Long Bien districts. This journey gives you insight into Hanoi’s past, present, and future.
4. At the end of the tour, we stop at a café where you can enjoy authentic Hanoi coffee. After that, we take you back to your hotel. Tour ends.
